What They’re Saying...
I love Robbie Ventura. Maybe it's both Ventura and his Vision Quest staff I'm smitten with. I can't say for sure. I just know I've never worked so hard, learned more about training and enjoyed drilling myself into a sweaty pulp more than I do with his DVD's.

I've seen every video training product out there, but I haven't seen anything like realRides. These products are the most specific way to replicate real-world riding in an indoor training environment. And it doesn't hurt motivation that they are riveting to watch.

For the average rider out there, indoor training is something that they burn out on very quickly. I think these DVD's can change all that. It's amazing how compelling and realistic they are.

As I watched the end of the Race Day, I felt my heart rate go up. I wish I'd been wearing a heart rate monitor because I'd like to know just how high it went. This product is breaking some new ground in indoor training.

Somehow Ventura manages to clearly narrate throughout the event, explaining to the viewers what to do – and what not to do – in different race situations. The use of surprising steady point-of-view cameras (one helmet cam, one follow cam, and Ventura's own head-tube mounted hero cam, brings the viewer close to the fast-paced criterium experience.

Talk about getting your adrenaline going in more ways than one. realRides produces unique, first-person training videos. Dust off your trainer and pop these babies in your DVD player. It beats Computrainer by a long shot.

I'm always looking for a product to make indoor training more bearable. Other companies produce training DVD's, usually featuring a coach yelling and a roomful of riders sweating. Ventura shows how to apportion energy, move up through the pack and corner effectively with his heart rate approaching 190 bpm. This is as good as it gets.
